Before opening a video

Browser playback depends on the media codec and the current device. MP4 and MOV extensions can contain different codecs; a file picker does not promise that the browser can decode the video. Long files and high resolutions use more memory.

The frame exporter creates a PNG still. The clip tool records playback to WebM in real time and may not be available in Safari or mobile browsers. The bitrate and frame-size calculators do not read or edit a file. See each tool page for its specific limits.

Selected video is processed in browser memory by the tool code. The file is not uploaded to Framewell. The site host and consent service still receive ordinary page requests; details are in the privacy policy.
