Tool questions

About this tool

Is the clip export instant?

No. The browser records playback in real time, so a one-minute clip takes about one minute to capture.

Which browsers work?

Current desktop Chrome, Edge, and Firefox are the most likely to expose MediaRecorder and video-element capture. Safari and mobile browsers may not support the required combination.

Will audio always be included?

Only when the browser exposes an audio track from the selected media element. The result page reports whether a track was detected; always listen to the output.

Does it create MP4?

No. This tool records WebM when the browser supports it. It is not an MP4 encoder or a guarantee of platform delivery settings.
