No. The file-based tools use browser media APIs and object URLs. Their code does not upload or store your selected video on Framewell servers. The page still makes normal hosting and consent-service requests.

The browser must be able to decode and play the file. MP4, MOV, and WebM extensions may contain different codecs, so extension alone does not guarantee compatibility.

No. It records playback to WebM when your browser supports MediaRecorder and video-element capture. The clip records in real time and may be re-encoded.

No. Audio is included only if the browser exposes an audio capture track. The result reports whether one was detected; listen to the output before using it.

Framewell seeks to a playback position and records a live stream. Browser seeking and capture timing vary, so it is not a frame-accurate editing system.

The current tool accepts a selected range up to ten minutes and stops exports above 512 MB. Longer or larger projects should be handled by a video editor.

No. It reserves a small allowance and estimates the video bitrate from target size, duration, and audio bitrate. Encoder behavior and scene complexity change the final size.

No. It returns even-pixel dimensions that fit a ratio inside a maximum box. It does not alter your video.
